The Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA) is a lead partner in the Go International (GoInt) project, which is implemented under the INTERREG „Greece-Bulgaria“ 2014-2020 cross-border cooperation program, in partnership with the German-Greek Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Greek-Italian Chamber of Commerce.
The GoInt project commenced its activities following the signing of Grant Agreement No. B6.3a.06 for non-repayable financial assistance between BSMEPA, acting as the lead beneficiary, and the Ministry of Development and Investments of the Hellenic Republic (Managing Authority for the INTERREG „Greece-Bulgaria“ 2014-2020 cross-border cooperation program), with the financial support of the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union.
At this stage of the project, the conclusion of a contract for national financing under the INTERREG „Greece-Bulgaria“ 2014-2020 cross-border cooperation program with the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works of the Republic of Bulgaria is anticipated.
The main activities to be carried out under the GoInt project are related to the organization and conduct of information days, training sessions, trade missions, participation with a stand within an international fair/exhibition, as well as the development and operation of an informational electronic platform (software product).
The primary goal of the project is to promote Bulgarian and Greek small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the food and flavor industry by providing an interactive tool/platform, training to enhance entrepreneurial success and sales, market penetration into foreign markets, assistance in exploring new markets, and showcasing products at global fairs/exhibitions.
