Since 2021, the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA) has been the lead partner in the Go International (GoInt) project, implemented under the Interreg „Greece-Bulgaria“ 2014-2020 cross-border cooperation program, in partnership with the German-Greek Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Greek-Italian Chamber of Commerce. The main activities outlined for implementation under the GoInt project include organizing and conducting informational sessions, training sessions, trade missions, and developing an informational electronic platform.
One of the main objectives of the project is to inform Bulgarian micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) from the regions of Haskovo, Kardzhali, Smolyan, and Blagoevgrad, with a sectoral focus on products such as organic goods, sunflower oil, traditional dairy products, traditional bakery products, natural juices, seeds, wine, nuts, gourmet products/spices, and confectionery. The aim is to inform them about the opportunities for entering international markets. Two target markets have been defined for the project: Vietnam and Israel.
