Companies from Bulgaria and Greece jointly present at the large-scale Agro Mashov 2022 exhibition for the food industry in Israel | The Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA)

In execution of the Go International (GoInt) project, implemented under the cross-border cooperation program Interreg „Greece-Bulgaria“ 2014-2020, in partnership with the German-Greek Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Greek-Italian Chamber of Commerce, the Executive Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (BSMEPA) is organizing the participation of a booth with 3 Bulgarian SMEs and 2 Greek SMEs from the food and flavor industry at the specialized exhibition Agro Mashov 2022, which is held on September 5 and 6, 2022, in Jerusalem, the State of Israel.

Simultaneously with booth participation, the Agency is also organizing the participation of 7 Bulgarian SMEs and 3 Greek SMEs from the food and flavor industry in a trade mission with a visit to the exhibition.

Agro Mashov is one of the largest exhibitions for agricultural goods and food products in the State of Israel. This year, its 31st edition will take place over two days – September 5 and 6 – in Jerusalem. Agro Mashov provides an opportunity for producers and traders to showcase fruits, vegetables, prepared and preserved foods and beverages, wines, meats, dairy products, poultry and fish meats, agricultural technologies, and more.

At present, the Agency has not organized a trade mission and participation in the exhibition, which serves as a gateway to multiple markets thanks to over 12,000 visitors from around the world.

Exhibitors present a wide range of products and services in the food and flavor industry sector, including „ORIX TEAM“ Ltd. – dairy products production, „DYSENA“ Ltd. – halva, tahini, and chocolate products production, „NIGELLA“ Ltd. – cold-pressed oil production, „GLUTEN FREE BAKERY, GATIDIS SA“ – bread and confectionery products production, „BROS KOURTIDIS SA“ – non-alcoholic beverages production.

Participants in the trade mission also represent the Food and Flavor Industry sector, but the focus of their participation is directed towards establishing direct contacts with potential business partners through visiting exhibition booths and engaging in direct B2B meetings.

The companies participating in the mission are: „BIMEDIS“ Ltd. – production of herbal oil-based dietary supplements for health improvement, „MONIKA-87“ Ltd. – dairy products production, „VERNADA“ Ltd. – processing of healthy foods (hummus), „VAS“ Ltd. – pasta production, „LACTUS“ Ltd. – production and sale of dairy products, „JEM I JEM“ Ltd. – production and sale of fruit and sugar preserves, „YUDOPLAD“ AD – frozen fruits and vegetables production, „BLUEBERRY BIODRAMA“ – agricultural cooperative of organic farmers and livestock breeders from the Drama region, „SERRAIKI ZIMI“ – handmade pastry products, organic, whole-grain, „TO XASAPAKI“ – butcher shop and meat processing.
