Leading experts – managers of industry-leading companies with years of experience in business development, will share their expertise and knowledge in a series of online training sessions called Grow.Global. The aim of these sessions is to assist domestic companies in successfully entering international markets.
This initiative is spearheaded by the Bulgarian small and medium enterprises promotion agency (BSMEPA) as the lead partner in the implementation of the Go International (GoInt) project under the cross-border cooperation program Interreg „Greece-Bulgaria“ 2014-2020. The primary goal of the GoInt project is to enhance the capacity, knowledge, and awareness of Bulgarian SMEs for successful entry into foreign markets.
Starting from October 7, over 20 online informational and training sessions will be held twice a week. These sessions will cover some of the most relevant topics and information that SME representatives need to know in order to sell successfully on new and foreign markets.

On October 7, Genoveva Hristova, a leading business expert, co-founder and managing director of Ligna Group, specialized in hotel renovation for leading European hotel groups, co-founder of MISSIA23 – the first CREATECH HUB in Sofia, and chairman of the Bulgarian Furniture Cluster, will present „The Role and Significance of Export Activities for Enterprise Development.“
On October 11, Georgi Malchev, managing partner in one of the largest digital agencies in Bulgaria, XPlora, will present „Developing Digital Skills – Conditions for Successful Business and Export in the Modern Digital World.“
On October 13, Yani Dragov, owner and CEO of „Smart Organic,“ the largest distribution and production company of organic and bio foods, producing over 1200 products present in reputable organic stores and cafes in more than 40 countries on 5 continents, will continue with „Ways of Entering the International Market.“
On October 18, Georgi Parvanov, CEO of the leading regional HR company CTeam, with 27 years of managerial experience in the field of human resources in companies such as McDonald’s, Societe Generale Bank, and the US Embassy in Sofia, will present „The Role of Human Capital in Ensuring Activities Related to Enterprise Internationalization.“
On October 20, Iliya Todorov, official representative of Koelnmesse in Bulgaria, aiding Bulgarian exhibitors and visitors at various fair events and facilitating contacts and negotiations between Bulgarian and German companies and organizations, will present „The Importance of Participating in Promotional Events to Find Reliable Foreign Clients – Participation in International Exhibitions in the Country and Abroad.“
Representatives from all economic sectors can participate in these online sessions, which will be broadcast live from the BSMEPA SMEs Webinars online seminar studio.
The goal of Grow.Global is not only to serve as a tool for promoting business internationalization by BSMEPA, but also to be an effective platform for communication between businesses and experts, allowing representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises to ask questions related to their activities.
