BSMEPA brought together a delegation from Bulgaria and Greece as part of the Go International (GoInt) project, implemented under the Interreg cross-border cooperation program „Greece-Bulgaria“ 2014-2020, in partnership with the German-Greek Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Greek-Italian Chamber of Commerce, to one of the world’s largest trade exhibitions in the agro-food industry – Vietnam FoodExpo!
Vietnam FoodExpo is the most comprehensive event in the agro-food industry in the region. It serves as a reliable hub for exploring and trading with prestigious international importers, leading distributors in Vietnam and the global arena, focusing on foods, beverages, and processing technologies. Prominent exhibitors will showcase their products and services.
The delegation, comprised of five Bulgarian companies – BIMEDIS, KONDOV ECOPRODUCTION, ORYX TIM, DYUSENA, NIGELLA – manufacturers of food products like oils, tahini, dairy products, and others, along with two Greek wineries – Vladikas Winery and Moschopolis Winery, are participating in a trade mission that encompasses an intensive program including exhibition visits, B2B meetings, and attendance at the Vietnam Food Forum 2022 – the most significant annual forum for foreign visitors and exhibitors who follow current local food trends and relevant government policies, where leading experts share knowledge and experience in the agro-food industry.
The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Tsvetan Aleksandrov, Head of the Department of Trade and Economic Affairs in Hanoi, and participated in a special meeting with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce for Central and Eastern Europe in Vietnam (CEEC).
