As part of the Go International (GoInt) project, funded by the Interreg „Greece-Bulgaria“ 2014-2020 cross-border cooperation program, in partnership with the German-Greek Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Greek-Italian Chamber of Commerce, the team from the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA) participated in a partner meeting aimed at sharing experiences and facilitating transnational dialogue within the GoInt project. The meeting took place on February 20, 2023, in Thessaloniki, Greece.
The dialogue occurred within the context of the International Exhibition for Food, Beverages, Machinery, and Equipment – Detrop Expo and OENOS – the 8th International Wine Exhibition.
During the event, the developed e-tool within the GoInt project was presented, showcasing the online platform and the first pilot virtual exhibition for Food and Beverage Products – the GoInt Virtual FoodExpo. The online exhibition is organized within the project and is open for participation by SMEs from Bulgaria and Greece.
The utilization of modern digital tools to promote the export of products from the food and beverage industry sector was emphasized during the event. Mr. Georgios Palisidis, a board member of the Italian-Greek Chamber of Commerce in Thessaloniki and delegated advisor for the food and beverage sector, highlighted that the project offers an excellent opportunity to achieve economic, social, and territorial convergence of businesses between Greece and Bulgaria.
